Education for Underprivileged Children

Transforming lives through learning

The education project aims to transform children in our community and create good citizens. We identify all children who are not going to school and bring them to a good school in Kahe that can shelter them, feed them, and care for them.

Our sponsorship covers education, uniforms, stationery, holiday trips, extra studies, and medication. Currently, we support 45 children in this program.

Sanitary Pads Project Health

Reusable Sanitary Pads

Empowering girls to stay in school

Menstruation and access to sanitary pads are challenges that significantly hinder the girl child's access to continued quality education. Girls who do not have access to pads miss three to four class days each month, adding up to 30-40 missed school days per year.

With three sewing machines and two tailors, we produce reusable pads using locally available materials. Each girl receives a bag with 7 reusable pads that she may use for one year.
